Whitney Mead
Whitney Mead serves as our Marketing/Community Advisor and Nanny Industry Specialist. She handles all of our Social Media accounts, manages our local groups, and helps cultivate a sense of community between parents, nannies and our agency. Whitney also spends copious amounts of time keeping up with laws, regulations, and fair labor as well as local events, resources and useful information for both nannies and families to help ensure that their children are receiving the best quality of care.
She has over 18 years experience working as a professional career nanny. At the University of North Florida, Whitney received her degree in Special Education with a track in Deaf Studies. Originally from Ohio, she fell in love with Jacksonville’s small town vibes in a big city and decided to make it her home. Whitney began her nanny career while a student at UNF and upon graduation, worked in the teaching profession. Fortunately, Whitney never forgot her love of helping to raise and educate children and now 17 years later, still devotes herself to the nanny profession. Whitney was also an assistant center director at a local learning center. Ever the teacher, she managed to also tutor elementary age students in all subjects. She has continued educating herself by attending seminars and taking online classes, including being trained as a Newborn Care Specialist. She is looking forward to placing nannies and families together to give them the same wonderful experiences she has had.
Whitney enjoys spending time with her partner Louis, friends, and family, going dancing and to concerts and loves trying new restaurants around town.
